Security and Door Supervisor Emergency Care
Our Door Supervisor / Security Emergency Care Course is designed specifically for officers
working in the public sector including licensed premises. The 1 day course meets the requirements of the Emergency First Aid
at Work Course and will include additional topics appropriate to this industry. A certificate valid for 3 years will
be awarded at the end of the course.
Topics Include:
The role of the first aider including reference to the
use of available equipment and the need for recording incidents and actions;
Understanding the importance of basic hygiene
in first aid procedures;
Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an
emergency;
Management of the Unconscious Casualty;
Resuscitation;
Wounds, Bleeding and Shock;
Airway Obstructions;
First aid for minor injuries;
Anaphylaxis;
Drug and Alcohol Intoxication;
Stab & Gunshot Wounds;
Use
of site resuscitation equipment including AED if required;
Any other topics requested.
